General Description
General Contractor seeking a dynamic receptionist to perform receptionist and administrative support to corporate operations.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Answers telephones for Advanced Roofing and Sheetmetal Office.
- Greets and directs visitors.
- Manages all incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries. Logs and date stamps all incoming invoices on a daily basis and distributes to appropriate branches and departments.
- Maintains and updates conference room schedule.
- Administrative support to various managers with correspondence, copying, special projects, running errands, etc.
- Archives all and any corporate files as directed.
- Maintains and purchases office supplies and inventory.
- Responsible for maintaining a tidy/professional environment: front entry, lobby, conference room, kitchen, office supply room and copier area.
- Works closely with co-workers to administrate and maintain company schedule of meetings. Supplies additional support to the set up/take down and organization of corporate and client meetings.
- Responsible for unlocking doors every morning or locking all doors in the building at night, depending on schedule.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Work Experience, Skills and Other Requirements
- Top Organizational skills.
- Sit for long periods of time in front of a computer.
- Be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records and other office procedures.
- Intermediate computer skills and previous experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- General knowledge of office machinery i.e. postage meter, fax, copier, scanner, etc.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Knowledge of structure and content on the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
