Prescriptions Administrator

Salary: Starting at £23,971 per annum, with the potential to rise to £25,095 per annum.

Location: Keynsham, Bristol (site based)

About the role:

The main purpose of the Prescription Administrator is to support the checking and processing of veterinary prescriptions with a key focus on attention to detail to ensure the correct medication is processed.

The Prescription Administrator sits within the qualified Prescription Team and reports into a Prescription Team Leader.

Main responsibilities:

  • Processing prescriptions from uploaded, original and scanned copies
  • Copying information accurately
  • Identifying errors and potential fraudulent prescriptions
  • Liaising with vets and our customer service team to ensure the best level of service is delivered
  • Maintain thorough and accurate customer service records
  • Working towards agreed KPI’s and SLA’s
  • Work towards personal development plan goals and agreed objectives

The role is 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday and will be based on site at our Keynsham offices. The working hours for this role are a weekly alternating shift pattern, working 08.00 - 4.30 and 08.45 - 5.15.
