Our Client is a well-established Chartered Financial Planning Practice who are based in the Heart of Nottingham City Centre. An excellent opportunity is now available for an ambitious Trainee IFA Administrator to join their prestigious organization . Our Client hold an excellent reputation within the Industry for providing bespoke Financial Planning solutions to an extensive Client Bank consisting f ultra-high net worth individuals.
The main purpose of the role will involve working closely with the a team of IFA Administrators and Paraplanners
Responsibilities
o Processing new business applications
o Obtaining valuations and assisting in the production of Investment plans
o Assist in production of 'Mindmaps' for Advisers as a result of discovery/fact find meetings;
o Regular upkeep of electronic filing systems
o Data entry and data quality management on XPlan - our CRM system
o Provision of ad-hoc data, analysis and reports
o Welcome clients and visitors to the office
o Responsible for the internal functions related to the managed portfolios
o Writing suitability reports for the financial advisers and support
o Maintain and update relevant office processes, procedures and policies
o Build and maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of our record keeping requirements.
o Ensure you are able to use the necessary applications and back office systems to deliver your work.
Requirements
Polite, pro-active manner, attention to detail, team player;
Excellent organisational and planning skills with ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines;
Experienced financial services administrator (or with significant technical aptitude for the post);
Competent user of MS Office applications and ideally Mindmap application.
To apply for the role you will have already obtained experience working within a similar business and will have gained knowledge of processing new business in relation to Pensions & Investments.
