We are looking for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our Registered Service based in Bury St Edmunds (Drummond Court, The Willows) on a permanent, part time basis (24 hours a week). The role will be rota’d to do two nights per week including weekends and bank holidays. Shift timings are 20:00 till 08:00

What does a Waking Night Support Worker do?

Our Drummond Team support adults with learning disabilities to access the community, maintain their homes, and just live a normal and active life.

As a Waking Night Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable, dignified, liberated and happy life.

The type of support we provided is varied and may involve support with medication and health matters, meal planning and preparation. The person you support may have their own goals/ambitions and just need a little help to achieve these. Night staff will be expected to complete Personal care, regular checks throughout the night and housework duties, i.e.: washing, cleaning kitchen, mopping etc…
