ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT WORKER BAND 2
We are looking to recruit an Administrative Support Worker for 18.75 hours per week to support a small team of Speech and Language Therapists in their work across the Burton, Tamworth and Lichfield areas. The role is a permanent contract.
You will be based at Greenhill Health Centre, Lichfield, and will undertake general administrative and clerical duties including work using the RIO system.
You will form part of the South Team Administrative Hub, and will be required to move between Burton and Lichfield when necessary. This post would be suitable for somebody with previous administrative experience, and who is looking for the opportunity to work as part of a Speech and Language Therapy team within the NHS. Internal applications are also welcome.
The South Speech and Language Therapy service supports children and young people with a range of communication needs through assessment and intervention in homes, schools and clinics.
This post will be based in the Greenhill Health Centre, working alongside the Team Secretary. You will provide administrative support to the clinical team.
Your main duties will be:
- Handling referrals.
- Data entry onto records systems.
- Handling telephone and email queries.
- Sending out letters and resources to patients.
- Booking appointments for the team.

The post holder will primarily be based in Greenhill Health Centre, but may be asked to cover in Burton or Cannock if required by the service.
