Job description
The Learning and Development Department is responsible for the design and delivery of a fit for purpose learning and development curriculum, ensuring that all staff have a seamless journey from candidate to competent colleague. We want to support staff to maximise their potential, providing them with the skills, knowledge and behaviours to deliver effectively in support of Trust Vision and Values and embed a culture of learning and development throughout the organisation.
This role is responsible for supporting the design and delivery of a range of statutory and mandatory learning and development interventions across the organisation, including our in house induction programme and helping to improve organisational culture in line with our PRIDE values and promoting Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust as the employer of choice.
The post holder will support the Learning Advisor to commission and deliver a robust statutory and mandatory training programme for the Trust including corporate induction and all associated engagement activities. They will be responsible for dealing with training queries, course and venue bookings and cancellations and promotional activities utilising the LMS system to support their work and ensuring that the MTWLearning mailbox is continuously monitored.
Our activities cover the entire Trust, cross-site travel will be required and occasional cover out of normal working hours, so applicants must be willing to play a pro-active part in this to ensure excellent service delivery.
