Administrator and Donations Officer
37 Hours per week
Salary £20,972
Job Purpose:
- To provide direct administrative support to the organisation
- To maintain Leeway’s administrative systems, including supporting and helping to maintain I.T and telecoms
- To coordinate donations, including organising and maintaining the donations database
- Ensuring that all donations are recorded and donors are thanked
- To provide general admin support to the senior management team
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant qualification and/or experience of administrative work in an office for a business or charity
- Experience of maintaining administrative systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to deal with matters of a highly confidential nature with sensitivity and discretion
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends where required
- Reliable, enthusiastic, non-judgmental and understanding
- To help out and take part on request with any other such duties to support the organisational function, duties and aims of the charity
- Awareness of Data Protection
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience of minute taking
- Experience of working as a personal assistant
- Awareness of domestic abuse and the effects on adults and children
This role can be considered for a secondment opportunity but will be subject to DBS clearance
