Job description
Pay & Benefits – £21,000 per annum and an attractive benefits package that includes pension, death in service and private health care.
Hours of work – 37 hours per week over Monday to Friday. (Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and Friday 8:30am to 1:30pm)
Key Duties Include:
· Liaise with weighbridge for daily goods in
· Daily update of outturns and folders
· Processing the stock process sheets and passing to the Trading department
· Checking & destocking of goods out material from system
· Maintain daily/monthly stock filing
· Updating outturn spreadsheet as required
· Filing, photocopying, scanning & shredding as required for stock & logistics team.
· Helping with daily stock book
· Liaising daily between Logistics and Finance departments.
· Take minutes of any Logistics meetings and distribute to relevant people.
· Completing weekly stationery audits for the Stock & Logistics department and informing the Administrative Assistant of items that require replenishment.
· Complete annual filing and arranging secure shredding of obsolete company paperwork.
. Cover Reception duties when required.
· Helping other departments with any administrative duties as required.
· Any other ad hoc duties as required.
Skills Required:
· UK Right to work.
· Strong attention to detail skills.
· Excellent organisational skills and ability to bridge competing deadlines and priorities.
· Experience within a stock & logistics department would be desirable.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
· Good team player.
· Reliable & trustworthy.
· Must be motivated and able to work under pressure.
· Willingness to learn new skills to help out within the business.
