Introduction
Are you an experienced Administrator looking for a new challenge? Join the new team as a Senior Administrator at Ty Gwyn Hall, in Abergavenny and be a part of a company that values and supports you.
Working 37.5 hours over five days, you will support the administration team at Ty Gwyn Hall, As a Senior Administrator, you will turn your hand to all administrative and HR related tasks, including recruitment, on-boarding and compliance.
You will maintain a high standard day-to-day operational service delivery, and to provide an effective, consistent and reliable administration service for Ty Gwyn Hall hospital.
Your responsibilities:
- Answer the telephone, responding to questions or requests as appropriate
- Meeting professionals, visitors at reception and escorting them to the necessary areas
- Competently providing admin support for the additional departments
- Take and produce minutes at meetings such as ward round or professional meetings, as and when required
- Provide cover and support to the Finance Administrator when required
- Maintain electronic and paper personnel filesManage training coordination and complianceEffectively managing employee compliance with key requirements such as DBS
- To be responsible for the smooth operation of the hospital’s complaints procedures
- Manage hospital surveys (friends and family, complaint satisfaction, leaving our service), collect opinions, upload data to EH application and feedback at local clinical governance meeting
- Collate all clinical governance data from department heads, community home and advocacy; compile local clinical governance agenda and support the Chair to present the data at the hospital meetings
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Experience within a similar role
- Have GCSE’s, Grade C or above, in English and Maths.
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Efficient and organised
- Ability to use a high degree of initiative
- To be customer focused
- Able to maintain confidentiality at all times
