Contract type: Fixed Term Contract – 12 months
Location: Leicester - 5 Boundary Rd, Leicester LE2 7PE
Salary: £24,020 - £28,259 determined by a competency-based framework
About the role
As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll provide a range of Administrative support to the Customer Operations East Midlands team, and contribute to the achievement of departmental and business objectives.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Maintaining, reporting and coordinating technical and financial records, e.g. provide relevant KPI’s reports to the management team
- Operating and administering key data systems across the broad spectrum of business activities
- Providing a first line response for team communications by managing incoming phone calls, mail and correspondence
- Managing and co-ordinating team diaries and schedules and ensure that the itinerary is always clearly communicated to all relevant parties
- Organising various meetings, briefings and events as required and provide a minute taking and distribution service for key meetings
- Ensuring that all requests, orders, invoices are progressed in a timely manner, complying with all procedural requirements and internal audit regulations.
- Supporting fellow members of the team to ensure that the movements and activities are co-ordinated and maximise their impact on business performance
- Ensuring that internal and external perceptions of Functions/Partners are managed and protected within favourable boundaries wherever possible, maintaining confidentiality wherever appropriate
We’re looking for candidates who have the following:
- Excellent awareness of the organisation, business issues and processes
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience of liaising with senior members of staff, internally and externally
- Excellent organisation and administrative skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A basic understanding of business acumen and GDPR
- Strong planning, organising and customer service experience
