JOB DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting opportunity offering the chance to undertake a varied administrative role primarily supporting HR, Marketing and reception teams in our busy and thriving Farringdon office.
The role will predominantly focus on HR administrative tasks spanning the following core duties:
§ Maintaining a HR database ensuring all system changes are actioned accurately and in a timely manner
§ Placing job advertisements online and on the Company’s career page, plus preparing applicant shortlists
§ Undertaking all pre-employment vetting and referencing checks
§ Issuing appointment letters and contracts of employment
§ Data entry including monthly pension, salary updates and all other contractual changes
§ Maintaining accurate employee records including annual leave and sickness logs
§ Producing HR management information, metrics and reports
§ Supporting employee inductions and onboarding
§ Responding to employee enquiries and offering appropriate advice and wise counsel
§ Assisting with notetaking at periodic or ad hoc meetings
§ Administering training requests
§ Assisting with HR projects from time to time
Other duties will include:
§ Supporting the Head of Marketing, Brand and PR in organising and delivering various projects
§ Maintaining and developing the Firm’s databases, including information gathering, internal liaison, data organisation, contact database organisation, and the development and updating of the intranet site
§ Overseeing marketing materials in the reception areas, ensuring the holders are kept filled and clean and that all public areas are on-brand and in order
§ Providing reception cover throughout the day or to cover holiday periods. This will involve responding to incoming calls, welcoming visitors and diary management amongst other similar tasks
§ Assisting with archiving and managing the post when needed
§ To provide generalist administrative assistance in support of other group functions as occasionally required.
ABOUT YOU
This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys variety, can work autonomously and is keen to pursue or advance a career in HR, Marketing or office management. We welcome applicants who have proven experience across any of these business functions or who are able to show the versatility and desire to work cross functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Applicants must possess a high level of IT literacy, uphold a relevant business-related qualification and have impeccable written and spoken English language skills.
Due to the varied nature of this role, it will be permanently office based.

Salary: £22,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
