Security and Vetting Administrator
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance
LOCATION: Stevenage
TRAVEL: Occasional UK travel for training
We’re looking for a new Security and Vetting Administrator to deliver standard and business critical security and vetting activities at Airbus Stevenage.
You will be reporting directly to the Head of Site Security and your work will be key to ensuring the site’s compliance with various legislative and contractual personnel security obligations, including those relating to Government contracting, Export Control and Known Consignor.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
- Efficient and confidential administration of all site-level activities associated with UK Security Vetting
- Delivering site security inductions in support of the business’ wider on-boarding process; further education/training to support site and national security campaigns; and travel security briefings concerning personnel and IT deployments to medium and high risk areas.
- Collating and issuing weekly and monthly vetting and security KPI’s to support national management information reporting.
- Support the wider Security team’s response to site security incidents and breaches including initial information gathering and containment.
ABOUT YOU – Your Skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive vetting records and applications.
- Demonstrable experience in a security and/or vetting job role in a HMG or corporate security environment.
- Confident and articulate IT, verbal and inter-personnel skills for effective communication with customers, government authorities, project members and business leaders.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team, in a multinational environment.
- Willingness to attend government security training courses, some of which will be off-site residential courses spanning over consecutive working days.
