More detail about the role We are looking for someone who would like to start their career in an Administration role in the NHS. You will be working with patients and their family members, welcoming them to their Hospital appointments on our busy reception and wards and working towards booking appointments and using reports. It doesnt matter if you dont currently have the experience for the role, we are willing to train you whilst you work, as you undertake the Apprenticeship with Exeter College.
There is an option to undertake a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification at Exeter College, as well as Functional Skills in English and Maths and we can discuss this with you on the day. We are looking for someone that is reliable, friendly and is willing to learn in an environment where you will be fully supported. This role will be within the West of England Eye Unit, working with everything to do with eyes. There will also be an opportunity to rotate across the Surgical Reception team, which covers various surgical areas such as Ear Nose and Throat, Orthodontics (teeth) and Plastic Surgery along with the West of England Eye Unit, to allow you to experience the various areas within the NHS.
