Job description
To sell new and used vehicles in accordance with monthly targets agreed with the Group Sales Director and Departmental Sales Manager, and to generate the profit required overall.
- To make new customer contacts to generate vehicle sales.*
- Undertaking customer test drives**
- Maintaining the branch**
- Moving stock around*
- To maintain existing contacts and ensure customers’ satisfaction.
- Whenever possible, to make sales and protect and retain the Company’s margin, having regard for the competitiveness of the existing business climate.
- To attend Sales meetings as required.
- Proactively resource new sales enquiries
- To collect payments from customers and ensure the customers’ payment methods are in accordance with Company policy.
- To ensure that all necessary documentation is correctly completed and signed by the customer and/or salesperson where necessary.
- To support and implement the Company’s Quality System and carry out the responsibilities documented in the relevant procedure manuals.
- To maintain the Company car allocated and to ensure that it is always in a clean and saleable condition.
- To maintain a neat personal appearance in accordance with Company policy.

- To be fully flexible so as to be able to cover a wide-ranging variety of duties which may be required of any employee of the Company an any time and in any area of the Company’s operation, as deemed necessary by the Managing Director, Finance Manager or relevant Brand Head.
