Senior GIS Specialist – Newcastle Upon Tyne
Our client is searching for a Senior GIS Specialist.
You must have offshore renewable energy sector experience, ideally for a consultant and upwards of 8 years professional GIS experience. You will work in a multi-disciplinary consultancy with multiple project teams, alongside other GIS specialists, project engineers, geotechnical engineers, and geophysicists to produce project deliverables for offshore energy projects.
Your suitability for the role will be determined by your experience delivering or producing the following outputs:
Alignment and strip charts
Cable and pipeline routing (Main requirement)
Cable burial risk assessments and other cable assessments
Desktop studies
Cartographic standard drawing and charting
Environmental Impact Assessments
Site characterisation
Landfall assessments
Ground model processing
Data management and data models
Geoprocessing and analysis
ArcPro, ArcGIS Online and ArcEnterprise
Report and technical note writing
Technical notes
Consultancy experience
Project and task management
A passion for renewable energy and the geosciences
This role is work from home after 2 months based in the Newcastle office.
