Job description
The employer is a manufacturer of building materials which are distributed nationally. It is based at The Ridgeway, Iver, Bucks. The hours are 08.00-17.00, Monday-Friday.
This is a key role within a small, but experienced, office team based in a fast-paced environment. The responsibilities include:
· supporting customers and resolving queries
· follow directions and complete assigned tasks
· respond quickly and accurately to customer calls and emails
· manage the administration for deliveries of raw materials
· general office and invoice administration
The successful candidate will:
· be a clear and logical thinker
· be able to communicate by phone with clarity and accuracy
· demonstrate an affable and polite personal manner
· possess excellent computer skills
· be able to demonstrate initiative
· capable of multi-tasking
· be an effective problem-solver
It would be of benefit if candidates have knowledge of the building industry or of working in a builders’ merchants. However, this is not essential and full training will be given to introduce the successful candidate to our working environment.
