Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the radiology department at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for an administrative post booking radiology appointment.
Full time and part time posts are available to join our team, due to an expansion of the service, with a requirement for rotation between all Radiology departments at South Tees NHS Hospital sites. The posts will primarily be based at Friarage and Redcar primary care hospitals.
The role will incorporate a 7-day working week.
Main duties will include the processing and appointing of outpatient and Inpatient referrals.
You must have excellent verbal communication skills and deal with telephone queries in a calm professional manner.

This post is part of the collaborative initiative of the Community Diagnostic Hub program. Although the successful candidate will be employed by STHFT, there may be an expectation of collaborative working across the Tees Valley in the future should the need be required, however this role is primarily for STHFT radiology services, and the successful candidate will join the rota for STHFT. Successful candidates will be an employee of South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and managed as per the governance arrangements currently in place for Radiology and the organisation'.
