Beamish, The Living Museum of the North is seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to provide accurate and professional administrative support within the CEO office to ensure smooth operation of the team, with a strong focus on excellence and placing the visitor at the centre of all activities.
As the Administration Assistant you will be responsible for tasks connected with the CEO office, including minute taking, producing documents, drafting letters, filing, assisting with the organisation of special visits and effectively handling correspondence in a timely manner via email, telephone and in person and liaising with colleagues where necessary.
The successful person will be visitor-focused and will be driven to deliver a first-class administrative service, with excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and a ‘can do’ attitude.
