Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated administrator who can problem solve and work independently to join our conversions team at Vic Young.

Hours

Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm

About the role

This position will be a perfect fit for someone who enjoys working as part of a small team in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The conversions department specialises in adapting wheelchair accessible vehicles, building trucks, tippers and bespoke vehicles and leading the way with the adaption of electric vehicles.

The role involves:

· Assisting in preparation of documents relating to Tenders

· General office work with experience of Microsoft Office 13 software

· Organising and maintaining documentation to ISO9001-2015 Standard

· Assisting in preparing and maintaining documents for Audits

· Maintaining production charts – e.g. GANT

· Organising and maintaining computer drive dedicated to Conversions Department

· Invoicing

· Knowledge / Experience of note taking – typing notes

· Electronic / hard copy filing – Scanning

· Building & maintaining an excellent relationship with customers by meeting and exceeding their expectations.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. A strong background in administration is essential, though role specific training can be given.

Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required

About the Candidate:

We are looking for a hardworking individual who will be able to multi-task and be a team player but also have the initiative to work unsupervised with a focus on delivering a high standard of customer service while working within a busy environment.

Don’t worry if you do not have previous motor trade experience, as full training will be given to the right candidate. We are looking for someone with a fantastic attitude and behaviour and who will have meticulous attention to detail and be committed to supporting the Manager while maintaining the best quality and standards for our customers.
