Admin Assistant
Location: Duchy Hospital, Cornwall
Hours: 32 hours per week, Full-time
Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits
Summary:
Duchy Hospital is Cornwall's only private hospital with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services. Duchy Hospital was opened in 1981 by the late HRH Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and is located in a pleasant rural setting on the outskirts of Truro.
By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The two fully equipped ultra clean air theatres are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as arthroscopy, hip replacement and knee replacements. The hospital is also equipped with a day case theatre, with endoscopy facilities.
A wide range of diagnostic and treatment facilities are available including x-ray, MRI, ultrasound, physiotherapy, sports injury clinic, continence and health screening.
The Role:
We are have a great opportunity for an Admin Assistant to join our team at Duchy Hospital.
As an Admin Assistant, your duties will include:

Physiotherapy Reception
-
Admin support for the Therapists
-
Managing Therapist’s appointments and diaries
-
Responsibility for billing, invoicing and payments for the Physiotherapy Department

Dealing with Insurance companies
-
Initial pattern of 4 days per week however a flexible approach to hours/days worked is necessary due to evening and weekend clinics.
Skills and Attributes:

Previous admin experience
-
Excellent computer skills
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Good time management and organisational skills including the ability to multi-task

Strong team focused working
-
Previous admin / reception experience within a healthcare environment (desirable)
