Job description
Moore Barlow is currently seeking a responsive and dependable part-time Admin Assistant to join our leading Private Wealth Team in Guildford.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a self-starter attitude, with a willingness to get involved in a wide variety of administrative tasks, with the aim of allowing our team of experienced Legal Secretaries (who in turn support a team of nine fee-earners) to work at optimum efficiency.
Day to Day:
In this varied role, you will:
- Carry out a broad range of administrative tasks, including photocopying, scanning, post-room duties, organising meetings, and diary management.
- Deal with enquiries on the phone as needed, taking accurate messages and following up if necessary.
- Assist with the opening and closure of client matters, as well as the archiving and storage of closed files.
- Take responsibility for fee-earner filing, and ensure all files are kept up to date throughout the matter.
- Handle basic accounting tasks including expense claims, write-offs and time transfers.

- An individual with basic familiarity with various administrative tasks (note that experience in a similar position and/or organisation is not essential).
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Engaging, empathetic, and friendly communication style, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Creative problem-solving skills; able to think outside of the box with a willingness to help others in the team.
- The ability the work methodically, accurately, and efficiently.
