We are looking for an Administration Assistant to support the Administration Manager in the day to day running of the reception area at Weston Favell Academy.

The role:

You can expect to be responsible for the smooth running of the front office supporting the Office Manager in a range of administrative and clerical duties such as compiling data and creating and maintaining databases and other computerised systems. You will also be the first point of contact for parent/carers, will deal with incoming and outgoing communications, handle messages and undertake administration tasks for trips and visits, as well as be the health and safety contact.

To be successful, you will be confident, able to multi task, ‘think on your feet’ and have experience of providing a professional administration service in an educational setting with a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures. Team player mentality and ability to work well under pressure is essential.

About us:

Weston Favell Academy is making substantial improvements in all areas and we are investing heavily in our staffing structure to continue this momentum. We are a supportive team, committed to ensuring that our learners fulfil their potential despite any barriers they may face. We are looking for equally passionate practitioners to join our team.

The academy, led by Todd Johnson, Principal, has a very vibrant, supportive and hardworking team, committed to promoting high achievement in education whilst ensuring that standards of behaviour and uniform are impeccable. Pupils are supported to not only achieve highly but also to ensure they are prepared for their future through a variety of enrichment opportunities.

Located on the outskirts of Northampton, we are situated in a great part of the country. Northampton has a £20billion economy and sits at the heart of one of four designated growth areas in England, with big plans for housing and the economy. With plenty of countryside on the doorstep, it’s surprising that it’s only an hour away from London.

In Return:

You can be assured that you will be joining a successful Multi Academy Trust that has a great track record in helping children to succeed no matter what their background. The Trust is dedicated to valuing and developing the workforce whether that be through ensuring a fair workload or offering access to bespoke CPD from the Learning Alliance to enhance professional growth.

We believe in looking after the people who make a huge difference to our children, their families and the communities we serve. That’s why we give everyone who joins a Perkbox account – with 24/7 access to perks and discounts, plus curated wellbeing tools to look after your physical and mental health. It’s part of our commitment to look after you.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Shopping discounts from the biggest brands, all year round
  • Save money on everything from the supermarket shop to summer holidays
  • A free Employee Assistance Programme from Health Assured
