BFT Mastclimbing is looking to appoint an Operations Assistant to join their Swinton office team and be responsible for assisting the Operations Manager and other members of the Operations team to ensure the smooth running of the business.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of a similar role and will have excellent Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel (including basic formulae and filtering). They should also be extremely organised and have excellent communication skills. To do the job well they will need to be a team player, be resilient and be flexible to meet the demands of the business. they will be confident, proactive, able to get on with tasks independently with strong attention to detail. For the right candidate there will be scope to develop the role as the company continues to evolve.
BFT are specialists in the design, supply and maintenance of access equipment in the form of mastclimbers and hoists for the construction industry and have a great reputation across the UK. We have experienced a period of rapid growth and seek to continue this growth whilst maintaining our dominance within the industry.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with Excel applications for valuation / invoicing
- Electronic filing onto the cloud and manual filing of information
- Assisting with wages and helping to resolve queries
- Managing Bright HR
- Monitoring annual leave and sickness
- Processing expenses for the North.
- Uploading yard service documentation
- Assisting with van and wagon audits
- Monitoring administration emails and responding promptly
- Booking hotels for overnight stays
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised environment in the office
- Maintaining levels of office supplies and PPE
- Help and support for Supervisors whilst on site – machine configurations using manuals, emailing information etc.
- Daily monitoring of installer site arrival and returning home times
- Where possible liaise with the Operational team with practical/industry advice to get jobs running smoothly
- Reply to clients regarding jobs to gain more information, or details to update in house systems
- Upload details onto the cloud – project info, reports, photos etc.
- Carry out other similar tasks as and when required by the Ops team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
