We are still actively hiring Activity Leaders for our English Summer Camps that we organise for international students across many locations in the UK.
As an Activity Leader, you will be responsible for leading students on excursions, conducting walking and bus tours of sights, interacting with, and engaging with students on campus and on excursions by conducting activities and assisting with check-ins and check-outs. You will work under the direct supervision of the Campus and Activity Manager.
Locations: Uxbridge, Kingston, Epsom, Hatfield, Windsor, Chelmsford, Bath, Ellesmere, Stirling, and Edinburgh (further details further down)
Some of the other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interact with participants on the coach buses on the way to and from tourist sights, doing activities, playing games, etc.
- Engage with and conduct activities with students during their “free time”
- Assist the Activity management team in ensuring that excursions run smoothly
- Coordinate and lead day and overnight trips, as instructed
- Supervise students on the buses and at the tourist sights
- Supervise and participate in on-campus activities
- Coordinate and lead on-campus activities, as requested
- Attend and participate in all the following activities: talent shows, graduation ceremonies, and presentations that orient students to the PLUS programme
- Conduct campus tours for participants and encourage student participation in events
- Interact with groups of international students and their Group Leaders in a professional, enthusiastic, and customer service-oriented manner
- Supervise students in the residence halls and dining hall
- Supervise students during excursions and on-campus events, as instructed
- Attend daily staff meetings
- Assist in the distribution, tracking, and reconciliation of travelcards, meal vouchers and other
- Assist in preparing the campus for students’ arrival
- Assist in the distribution of boxed meals
- Walk students to and from classroom buildings, as instructed

REQUIRED:
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Must be 18+
- A minimum commitment of 2 weeks
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE HAS:
- Good level of both spoken and written English
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Enthusiastic, friendly and positive personality, takes initiative and is creative
- Patience and passion to work with children
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES

*you can be either residential or non-residential
*full board accommodation is available if required
*minimum required stay is 2 weeks
Working hours:
- Your shift can be anytime between 7:30 – 10:30pm
- 48hrs per week (6days a week)
Salary wage:
- £66.32 - £92.32 daily rate – depending on the age, in accordance with the national minimum wage
- Pay is inclusive of holiday
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract
Salary: £66.32-£92.32 per day
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday

- Uxbridge: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
