Activity Leaders
PLUS Education is a global organisation established more than 50 years ago. We plan, organise, coordinate, and run residential English summer camps for international young learners between the ages of 8 and 17, and we are currently recruiting over a hundred Activity Leaders for our UK-based 2023 summer programme.
As an Activity Leader, you will report to the Activity Manager and the Campus Manager, working as part of the Campus Leisure Team, taking responsibility for the supervision of students throughout the day and evening according to the roster.
Your main duties will be communicating, promoting, organising, and running daily activities and events. These include activities on campus such as sports activities, movie nights, themed discos, dance sessions, and meal supervision; and activities off-campus such as excursions to major cities and nearby attractions either on public transport or by coach.
Duties and responsibilities
- Ensuring student well-being in collaboration with the Activity and Campus
Managers and PLUS Head Office, adhering to our safeguarding policy.
- Being a positive and enthusiastic presence on campus, interacting with students to aid English practice.
- Promoting, organising, and running all activities set out by PLUS and coordinated by the Activity Manager.
- Encouraging and motivating students to participate in activities.
- Supervising groups on trips and excursions.
- Working with various departments including Group Leaders to ensure the smooth running of the centre.
- Ensuring student satisfaction is at a high level.
- Supervising meals in the canteen, eating, and interacting with students.
- Working as part of a team following the direction of the Activity manager.
Skills required
- Native or near like native level English speaker.
- Enthusiastic and positive.
- Initiative and creativity.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Willing and able to work long hours.

Requirements
- Must be 18 or over
- Must have already the right to work in the UK
- Native or near like native level of English
