Are you an experienced Nursery Manager looking for a new and exciting role? Would you like to be a part of the opening of a brand new nursery?

At Blossom Tree Montessori, we are recruiting for a Nursery Manager to join our brand new nursery in Eastcote. We are set in a very accessible location next to the shops on Field End Road. We are around an 8 minute walk from Eastcote station and there is a bus stop around a minute walk from the nursery so we are very accessible via public transport.

This role is full time, working 40 hours per week – working a variety of shifts between the hours of 7:30am-6pm.

**Salary - £50,000 PA**

A little about Blossom Tree Montessori:

We first opened our Northwood branch in July 2019 and have expanded the nursery twice since opening.
Our Eastcote branch is our second branch to open which we are very excited about!
We are really passionate about the Montessori ethos and we provide in house training as well as supporting staff to complete courses to further their knowledge.
There is plenty of room for career progression and we are very focused on upskilling our staff team.
We have a total of 5 classrooms across 2 floors within a beautiful building with a lot of character.
We use a nursery app called ‘Blossom Educational’ which is our sister company! It’s incredibly user friendly and helps us to be efficient and organised.

A day at Blossom would include:

Fully understanding the Policies and Procedures and following them when running the nursery.
Managing and overseeing the daily running of the nursery.
Forming professional and friendly partnerships with parents and the staff team.
Completing staff supervisions and ensuring communication with the staff team is kept to a high standard.
Leading staff meetings on a monthly basis.
Staff delegation and deployment to ensure all rooms are working within the adult to child ratios.
Conducting peer observations and management spot checks. Focusing on the quality of interaction and the high levels of practice.
Conducting clipboard tests on the staff team to improve knowledge.
Mentoring and training the staff team whilst encouraging and upskilling practice.
Organising parent events.
Monitoring all daily and weekly checks are completed to a high standard.
Using our nursery app "Blossom Educational" - training will be provided.
Conducting viewings of the nursery.
Assisting with the enquiry process, following up with parents after their viewing.

What we would ask from you:

A minimum of a Level 4 in Early Years is essential.
Previous experience of working as a Nursery Manager is essential.
Having good ICT skills is essential.
Being a positive role model to your team.
Effectively lead and manage the staff team.
An extensive knowledge of the current EYFS, Ofsted and welfare requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
To be passionate, motivated, have the ability to work well within a team and be able to adapt to a fun and inspiring way of working.

We take safeguarding very seriously and a current and clean Disclosure Barring Services (DBS) Certificate is essential.
