Our Wind Turbine Blade Manufacturing Facility in Hull is advertising for Production Operatives to work within our Final Assembly Team.

In this critical role, you'll add the finishing touches to blades, including vortex generators and dino-tails, that help blades produce more power and increase the efficiency. Your attention to detail and positive attitude will be essential in ensuring that blades are completed to the highest standard and are checked thoroughly before being shipped off to sea. To succeed in this role, it's all about your attitude, not your experience, and we're looking for team players who are passionate about sustainable energy and our final customer.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Adherence to all health and safety requirements for yourself and those around you.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to use the correct materials, tools, and equipment
  • Plan and lay out work, following strict engineering specifications and quality standards
  • Check and monitor work constantly ensuring very high levels of attention to detail
  • This role is often physically demanding, including the requirement to work in fully protective suits with breathing apparatus (RPE).

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Having experience of working with large machinery would be advantageous.
  • High levels of spatial awareness are key for this role.
  • If you have experience working around CNC (computer-controlled machinery), this could be the role for you!
  • Some knowledge and understanding of bolting / drilling would be preferred.
  • A desire to continuously improve.

  • You will have exceptional levels of attention to detail, and the ability to follow all processes exactly.
  • Ability to work a shift pattern that includes working days, nights and weekends
