The Role
Condé Nast Britain is looking for an Acting Retail and Special Events Editor who in addition to their core responsibilities across Vogue and GLAMOUR, will support on exciting events and special projects across Condé Nast Britain’s portfolio of world-class media brands.
The Acting Retail and Special Events Editor will edit the monthly Checklist section within the print edition of British Vogue, in addition to online articles on GLAMOUR, and work closely with both the editorial and commercial teams on building strong relationships with brands and PR and communications representatives across a large number of brand categories, with a special focus on fashion, beauty, watches and jewellery.
The successful candidate will be an important representative for our brands, and attend press days, launches and industry events, as well as key client meetings alongside our commercial teams. They will also support in the ideation, planning and organisation of both industry and consumer events, and other special projects, for Condé Nast Britain.
The Team
The Acting Retail and Special Events Editor reports directly to the Vice President of Brand Revenue, Vogue and Events and Special Projects Lead, Vogue, GQ & GLAMOUR. They will work closely with the Style events, Style commercial, and Vogue and GLAMOUR editorial teams.
What will you be doing?
Edit Vogue’s monthly Checklist editorial pages and GLAMOUR online articles
Attend client meetings with commercial team as required
Attend industry press days and events on behalf of Vogue and GLAMOUR
Liaison with in-house PR’s, agencies and clients for editorial requests and to maintain and build close relationships
Support with creative ideas to enable new business opportunities for Condé Nast Britain
Support with the organisation and ideation of Condé Nast Britain events and special projects, and internal team activities
Support with ad-hoc styling and writing projects

Editorial background
Passionate about Condé Nast brands
Comfortable liaising with people at all levels, both internally and externally
Excellent organisational skills
Prior experience in styling, writing and events preferred
Great contacts across fashion beauty and lifestyle sectors
Enthusiasm and can-do attitude
Where will you be?
We encourage hybrid working but when you are in the office, this role will be primarily based in our iconic Vogue House building, situated in the heart of Mayfair. This is where our award-winning Editorial and Content teams sit.
