An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join a Croydon based, luxury retailer. You will be joining at an exciting time as they have created a new role due to the growth they have recently received. This is a hybrid role based in Croydon with the expectations of 3/4 days a week in office. This role has the potential to go permanent.
Details of the role:
Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, you will be working alongside a team of 20 in finance in their Croydon office.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the AR ledger for the UK region
- Assisting with close processes, including posting journals, supporting balance sheet reconciliation
- Improving AR processes
- Posting and allocating receipts
- Monitoring debtor balance
- Adhoc finance duties as required
Skills required:
The successful candidate will be available on short notice with 1-2 years’ experience in AR. SAP experience is desirable but not essential. A studier in either ACCA/CIMA/AAT would be a plus. Softer skills required would include being proactive and having desire to improve processes.
