Job Description


12 month fixed term contract

  • Working with Wholesale and other stock related teams to collect all information needed to calculate AR invoices (order amounts, discount rates, contractual terms, etc.)
  • Issue invoices and statements to Wholesale partners in a timely manner and reconcile invoices raised to order schedules.
  • Performing credit checks and setting up new Wholesale and other stock customers in Dynamics
  • Credit control and debt collection
  • Handling queries and escalating when necessary
  • Work with the business to ensure correct and accurate AR accounting, including controls, accruals required, accurate balance sheet reconciliations and ensure data integrity of information
  • Understand the business processes, including related risks and controls
  • Being pro-active to review and challenge
  • Produce timely, accurate and insightful reporting and analysis
  • Ad hoc analysis and scenario modelling to inform business decision making
  • Ensure appropriate and robust financial control environment, spanning from the posting of journals to assisting with supporting documentation for the external audit

Qualifications
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable management and credit control
  • Ability to plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines
  • Good Excel skills and analytical skills.
  • High standard of accuracy with financial and statistical data.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Good communication/ interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • The ability to be proactive within a fast-paced, dynamic environment susceptible to change
