Due to our continued growth within our Global Business Services Team we have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic Accounts Payable person to join our team based in Paisley.
The centre provides financial controllership in the region for two of the Thermo Fisher Scientific groups - Life Sciences Solutions and Special Diagnostics. We are responsible for a large number of entities reporting a total of $2 Billion of revenue per year.
What you will do:
- Ensuring that all transactions are appropriately authorized/approved posted and paid in a timely and efficient way.
- Dealing with queries in an efficient and timely manner
- Working as part of a large team that has responsibility for accurate and timely input of information (this is essential to the company’s payment processes -vendor invoices, and to the monthly reporting of results to the Corporation.)
- Timely checking and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Interfacing with various internal departments and external suppliers to resolve any queries.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Ad-hoc Project Work
- May perform other related/ad hoc tasks/projects as required and/or assigned.
Who we are looking for:
- Fluency (written and oral ) in English
- Experience in high volume, multi entity, multi-currency processing
- Relevant experience working in an accounts payable role (Preferable high volume, multinational experience beneficial but not essential)
