Alongside our team of 170+ members spanning Media Buyers, Copywriters, Content Managers, Landing Page Developers, Content Creators, Email & SMS Coordinators, CGC & Influencer Managers, we need an Accounts Payable Coordinator to make payments to employees and vendors and work alongside an amazing accounting team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
- 2-3 years of experience with spreadsheets, including calculations
- Proven ability to take the lead on tasks and provide day-to-day direction to employees and other teams
- Office management skills and experience, including developing, implementing and monitoring policy and procedures
- Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities
- Solid analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to understand issues/problems and solve quickly
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven role
- Extremely good at prioritizing tasks
- A love for technology, with the ability to learn new software quickly
- High attention to detail
- Google sheets/Excel experience is an asset
- Accounting and payroll experience is an asset
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Review payroll entries, enter deductions and process payment
- Review employee expense claims, including travel costs and process payment
- Review bills received from suppliers and other third parties and process payment
- Submit employee records of employment (ROEs)
- Report payroll to external parties, such as workers compensation boards, employer health tax, CRA, etc.
- Coordinate multiple payment methods including direct deposit, wire transfer and e-transfer
- Coordinate company credit cards including setting up, editing or canceling credit cards
- Provide support and guidance to employees about their expense claims
- Enter bills in accounting software
ABOUT THE POSITION
As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing and coordinating the accounts payable process with a strong emphasis on data analysis and spreadsheet management. Your responsibilities will involve analyzing and processing payments, including supplier invoices and employee payroll, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely and accurate payment processing. Proficiency in spreadsheets, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment are essential for success in this role.
