Orka Financial is currently working with a multi-site business who are growing significantly. They are now seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their accounts team. The role offers hybrid working and the opportunity to learn and develop within a growing company.
Ideally you will have experience within an Accounts Payable function, the post holder will be responsible for accounts payable, bank and credit card reconciliations and various other accounting tasks.
Salary up to £25,000 + remote working + excellent company benefits + study support (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
Account reconciliations- Monthly supplier reconciliations
- Staff expenses
- Process weekly payment runs liaising with suppliers
- Daily query & follow up of invoices
- Assisting with Cash Collections
- BACs and bank reconciliations procedures
- Month-end and rotational tasks as required
- Proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable role
- Strong team player, comfortable dealing with non finance people
- Calm under pressure and used to a fast-paced environment
