Job description
The Accounts Payable Officer will ensure the efficient and effective processing of financial transactions for the GPhC. This will include the daily processing and payment of invoices.
A key component of the role is to manage the invoice process, including sending invoices to budget holders for authorisation and ensuring supplier payments are settled within the agreed payment terms.
This role is subject to a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of our pre-employment due diligence.
The successful applicant will have:
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Accurate with excellent attention to detail.
- Understand the purchase ledger process and have experience with using accounting software.
