How will you add value to the OpenPayd journey?
Financial and management accounting:
o Utilising the Group’s Netsuite accounting system to generate accounting journals for both month-end and year-end reporting purposes
o Setting up and maintaining audit support file for year-end
o Completing reconciliation files (bank statement reconciliations, prepayments, fixed assets, accruals, intercompany and others) – both for month and year-end
o Assisting external audit team with sample requests eg downloading information from the OpenPayd platform or Netsuite accounting system
Client and revenue reporting:
o Support for weekly and monthly client revenue and volumes reporting including calculation of some pass-through and other charges to clients
o Generating ad-hoc statements for clients from the OpenPayd platform
o Raising manual invoices as required
General finance duties:
o Accounts payable support including coding and payment of supplier invoices
o Assist with preparation of daily safeguarding reconciliations
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Finance and Accounting Graduate
- Interested in pursuing ACCA/ACA/CIMA or similar studies
- Previous experience in financial services is helpful, but not essential
- Good attention to details
- Excellent time management & organisation skills
- Proficient Excel skills
- Fast learner
- Preferred past experience within fast-paced environment either summer or part-time experience
