A dynamic multi-faceted administrative opportunity with the Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure.
The capital program of the ministry fluctuates in value. The five Major Projects currently underway include the Pattullo Bridge Replacement Project, the Broadway Subway Project, the Kicking Horse Canyon Project – Phase 4, the Highway 99 Tunnel program (includes Fraser River Tunnel Project, the Steveston Interchange Project & the Transit & Corridor Improvements), and the Surrey-Langley SkyTrain Project. These projects are cumulatively valued at over $13 billion and are delivered concurrently.
The accounting and budget clerk provide budget and accounting support services for a Major Project.
Job Requirements:
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent and one year of related experience.
Related experience must include all of the following:
- Experience providing administrative and financial support services for a group of staff.
- Experience working in accounting and budgeting.
Preference may be given to applicants with the following:
- Post-secondary education in accounting and business
- Transportation experience.
- Experience working with CAS (Corporate Accounting System) and\or Oracle.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 3 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
