We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant who will be responsible for assisting the finance team in providing financial information on all sites within the group, as well as the processing of payments.
Role responsibilities
- Ensure all purchase invoices are accurately processed, with PO’s raised for them, within the supplier terms.
- Ensure all purchase invoices are posted to the correct general ledger/department/cost centre codes.
- Monthly supplier statement reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Ensure all suppliers accounts are tidy and up to date and general maintenance of the Purchase Ledger.
- Deal with any queries resolving or escalating where required.
- Proactively make suggestions on ways to improve current processes or procedures.

You will be able to organise your time effectively to deal with multiple priorities, complex information and be curious, with good analytical and problem solving skills. You will also be an excellent communicator and be able to build rapport with colleagues, suppliers and our members.
