Job description
Salary: £23,000.00 - £25,000.00 (FTE) Pro rata'd for part time hours
Purpose of the job: to provide effective administration support to the Finance Department
Main Duties
Banking
- Entering BACS payments / collections on internet Banking
- Assisting with Bank Reconciliations.
- Petty cash
- Assist with the reconciling of Petty Cash for all departments and report back to Finance Director on any overspends/ irregularities
Purchase Ledger
- Gain a wider understanding of the Purchase Ledger operation to be able to assist when needed
- Assist with the reconciliation of the Aged Creditors Control Account
Sales Ledger
- Raising Ad hoc internal and external invoices where required.
- Reconciliation of the Aged Debtors Control Account
Payroll
- Gain a wide understanding of the Payroll operation to be able to assist when needed
- Assist with the inputting of Payroll / Pension journals to Sage accounts
Staff Induction/ support
- Assist with Finance induction training for Managers.
General
- Meet and greet visitors to the organisation with respect at all times
- Attending meetings as and when required
- Adhere to all organisational policies and procedures at all times
- Support the Finance Director as and when required.

Salary: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
