Job description

Salary: £23,000.00 - £25,000.00 (FTE) Pro rata'd for part time hours

Purpose of the job: to provide effective administration support to the Finance Department

Main Duties

Banking

• Entering BACS payments / collections on internet Banking
• Assisting with Bank Reconciliations.
• Petty cash
• Assist with the reconciling of Petty Cash for all departments and report back to Finance Director on any overspends/ irregularities

Purchase Ledger

• Gain a wider understanding of the Purchase Ledger operation to be able to assist when needed
• Assist with the reconciliation of the Aged Creditors Control Account

Sales Ledger

• Raising Ad hoc internal and external invoices where required.
• Reconciliation of the Aged Debtors Control Account

Payroll

• Gain a wide understanding of the Payroll operation to be able to assist when needed
• Assist with the inputting of Payroll / Pension journals to Sage accounts

Staff Induction/ support

• Assist with Finance induction training for Managers.

General

• Meet and greet visitors to the organisation with respect at all times
• Attending meetings as and when required
• Adhere to all organisational policies and procedures at all times
• Support the Finance Director as and when required.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
