We are looking for a Accounts Assistant with a difference.
Job Purpose
To process the day-to-day purchase and sales ledgers, processing invoices, collating all documentation and authorisations to ensure the payment of and funds in for all services provided or purchased. To update the internal accounting systems and IT software to reflect and report on the businesses profit and loss, revenue streams and expenditure.
Responsibilities and Processes
· To create, collate and send purchase orders
· To create, collate and send sales invoices
· To Process and check purchase invoices, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided
· Collation of all documentation, receipts, and approvals to process staff expenses
· To process online refunds as requested ensuring the necessary approvals are in place
· In time, to monitor petty cash expenditure and staff sales ensuring these balance and the correct sign-out procedures and approvals have been gained
· To assist in the recording of daily, weekly, and monthly sales from all online platforms
· To ensure all monthly statements for our customers/brands are sent out in an accurate and timely fashion, chasing outstanding payments as requested and responding to any queries
· Checking of monthly statements from our suppliers against our account to ensure these are accurate
· To support the Accounts Manager and Head of Department in the provision of holiday and absence cover to ensure continuity of service across your team and the department
· To actively prepare for and participate in team, whole business, and individual meetings to ensure the progression of the business and discuss solutions to queries
· To follow and ensure the department follows all processes in line with the ongoing compliance of the business, raising any amendments and working with the compliance team to streamline and share best practice

· To train and support other members of the department and wider team as required
· To support in the provision of holiday and absence cover to ensure continuity of service to our Brands.
· Ad Hoc duties as requested by the CEO/COO
