Proactive Personnel are currently working recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to work in a successful business.

This role would be suitable for an accounts assistant who has a minimum of one years experience in the industry.

Responsibilities - Accounts Assistant

  • Maintain customer and supplier accounts.
  • Maintain paper and electronic records.
  • Maintain all databases.
  • Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
  • Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
  • Recording and filing cash transactions.
  • Controlling credit and chasing debt.
  • Invoice processing and filing.

Desired Skills - Accounts Assistant

  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • The ability to working under pressure within a busy office.
  • Ability to build positive working relations with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Computer literacy (Including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Sage or Xero).
