I am currently supporting a client based in the heart of Manchester who are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the team following a substantial period of growth which has resulted in an internal promotion.

You will be reporting directly into the Finance Manager and working in a team of 4 and this role is offering bags of support and personal development for anyone that is looking for help with their studies or just support in upskilling themselves as part of your career development.

Once you have mastered all things transactional (6 months – 12 months) there will be the opportunity to progress into the Management Accounts team where you will be supporting your colleagues with pulling together detailed management accounts.

Due to the nature of the role the company is ideally looking for someone with 12 months experience in the construction industry so they can understand the different terminology, however someone with previous experience in other sectors and the right attitude will be considered.

This company likes to encourage the team to spend time together outside of the office, and they arrange regular social events with some of the recent activities including cocktail making, ninja warrior, indoor skydiving, and team lunches.

There is already a training plan for you in place and the Finance Manager has years of experience in the construction industry and is eager to pass on her knowledge to an enthusiastic individual wanting to develop a financial career in construction.
