Location – Remote Position but you will be required to to meet up in an office in Glasgow 1 to 2 days per month (Full Equipment Provided)

What You’ll Be Doing:
The primary responsibility of this role is the performance of all Accounts Receivable and Payable tasks for all countries within the EAPAC region (UK, Germany, South Africa, Australia & Thailand).
During a Typical Day, You’ll:
Revenue & Invoicing:
· Generate sales invoices ensuring accuracy and timeliness and ensure these are appropriately reviewed & approved prior to processing
· Post generated invoices to Oracle & Ariba
· Reconcile revenue calculations to Oracle GL on a monthly basis, ensuring all invoices are coded and processed accurately and revenue reconciliation reports are prepared
· Provide analysis to business re cash collection, forecasts and debtors analysis
- Ensure Sarbanes Oxley procedures are followed
- Ensure effective internal controls are applied to all Accounting functions and recommend improvements as required
Cash Collection & Credit Control:
· Post all payments, adjustments and/or payment corrections in a timely manner
· Monitor client invoice status to ensure timely cash collection (date invoices sent to client, approved and scheduled for payment)
· Provide credit control to ensure timely resolution of queries and debt collection
Accounts Payable:
· Monitor AP mailbox to ensure that all purchase invoices are received & recorded on the excel payment run files
· Post purchase invoices to Sage ensuring that all purchase invoices and expense claims are correctly coded and VAT is treated correctly
· Set up wire payments for all non-UK payments and BACs files for UK payments
· Preparation of month end AP journals to reflect monthly Sage AP processing in Oracle
· Resolve any supplier issues and respond to queries within mailbox
What You Bring to the Role:
· Secondary School qualifications or similar: GCSE/ O Grades/ N/SVQ’s Level 1&2 or equivalent work experience
· Practiced experience in position related experience such as Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, bookkeeping/accounting functions
· Experience in operating in an international organisation is advantageous
Skills
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Oracle)
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work to tight deadlines and associated pressure
· Attention to detail
· Self-starter - can work without supervision
