Pebbles Care have an exciting remote working opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our growing Finance Department on a permanent part time contract of 20 hours per week (4 hours per day).
Your role as Accounts Assistant
The role is home-based with minimal travel however, it will be advantageous if you are based within the central belt of Scotland.
Your part-time hours of work are required between 8.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Your work pattern is negotiable to suit your availability.
Our Finance department play a vital role in ensuring the cash flow and logistics of the business operate effectively and efficiently. You will work within an established team of finance and accountancy professionals within the Residential Child Care sector.
Your Key Responsibilities include,
- Day-to-day processing of accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions for the company.
- Bank transactions and reconciliation
- Direct input around the department’s month end process
- Involvement in our statutory audit, banking, and payroll
- Email Inbox management
- Responding to accounts queries
- Liaising with key stakeholders regularly
Essential Requirements
- You will have a strong background in accounts administration
- Experience working with a growing SME company
- Strong IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience using Sage Accounts 50
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Be comfortable with home-working
- A flexible, fun and team-based approach to work.
What we offer you
- A salary of £12,500 per annum. The full-time equivalent salary is £25,000 per annum, pro rata.
- Hours of work are 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Your annual leave entitlement is 14 days per annum. Full time equivalent is 28 days per annum, pro rata.
