The team
At ITV we create and bring brilliant content to audiences wherever, whenever and however they choose.
Our award-winning marketing and communications bring those programmes and brands to life, deepening the relationship between ITV and consumers. The teams within Group Marketing cover the full spectrum of marketing communications. From our award winning in-house creative agency, ITV Creative, to Consumer Marketing, our dedicated Media team, right through to our Commercial Marketing team who engage advertisers and their agencies.
The role
As our CRM Manager you would be managing the execution of ITVX’s SVOD strategy through brilliant campaigns delivered across CRM and content merchandising; driving a positive direct relationship with viewers which ultimately leads to increased subscribers for ITV’s SVOD proposition: ITVX Premium. This role will focus particularly on driving acquisition and retaining the current base.
The role will entail but not be limited to:
- Manages the delivery of campaigns for the ITVX and BritBox SVOD strategy, supporting multiple business KPIs - driving brand awareness, video-on-demand viewing, and subscriber acquisition and retention.
- Works with multiple teams and alongside the Senior CRM Manager to understand our viewers and customers, through insights and segmentation - to make data-led decisions.
- Manages internal and external agencies and suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of the team’s CRM and content merchandising plans.
- Evaluates the team’s activity and impact against short and long term targets, and proposes strategic and tactical changes to optimise performance
- Ensures all CRM activity contributes to SVOD’s streaming, MAUs and subscriber KPIs.
- Manages the creative output of the team’s activities through an excellent understanding of impactful and performant copy and artwork.
- Represents the team and its requirements within product delivery teams.
- Manages several direct reports, delivering results and supporting their personal development.
- Manages budgets effectively.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Strong experience of upsell/acquisition necessary
- Proven track record of delivering strong and impactful creative campaigns
- Extensive experience delivering campaigns in a CRM and/or digital marketing environment
- Strong understanding of GDPR and data compliance
- Results driven analytical thinker confident interpreting data
- Omnichannel experience
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
- Experience with customer migrations
- Experience working with SVOD/subscription business model
- Knowledge of Braze
- Highly collaborative, working comfortably within a complex matrix environment
- Motivated and organised to deliver work to a high standard and to deadlines
- Stakeholder management and the ability to build strong relationships with the Product, Data & Insight and Marketing teams
- Comfortable reviewing statistics to make data-driven decisions
- A passion for TV, ITVX and its role at the heart of popular culture
