The Role:
We are looking for highly motivated and reliable Accounts Assistant to join our team at Newbury Park Hotels Ltd.
As Accounts Assistant you will help with the general bookkeeping and accounting within an organisation. They are well versed with all administrative tasks associated with a finance department.
Responsibilities:
- Raise and record Sales invoices on Sage for various companies
- Record purchase invoices on Sage for various companies
- Reconcile Supplier statements
- Update and reconcile various spreadsheets on daily/ weekly basis ( Bacs/Deposit)
- Process supplier Payment run- weekly and monthly
- Process monthly Payroll on Payroll Manager
- Upload pension contributions onto the pension provider portal
- Completing Bank reconciliation
- Prepare and enter journals into the system
- Support finance team with the month ends and year ends
- Scanning, filing documents
Requirements and skills:
Experience working in Accounts Assistant position for 2-3 years (Desirable)
Experience of working with Sage/Excel (Desirable)
Good Knowledge of payroll
Good telephone manner
Be able to work alone and as part of a team
