Job description
An exciting opportunity for a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our accountancy firm on a full-time basis to work on Private Client matters including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney applications, and Probate applications. We are looking for a bright, motivated, and independent individual who is keen to learn and gain a wealth of experience. From an early stage you will be encouraged, under supervision, to have direct client contact as well as drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney applications, and other associated matters. You will also be expected to undertake company secretarial tasks in order to support the work of the wider firm. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, an excellent attention to detail, and will be confident in managing their own workload.
Your role will include:
- Drafting Wills
- Completing Lasting Powers of Attorney applications
- Drafting correspondence with clients
- Drafting invoices for clients
- Assisting with Probate applications
- Assisting the Company Secretary in carrying out their role
- General administrative tasks
- Research tasks
Requirements:
- Legal experience in Private Client work is preferred however training will be provided.
- Law degree (preferred)
Experience:
- Private Client Paralegal: 1 year (preferred)
