REMOTE WORKING WITH 1 DAY PER MONTH REQUIRED IN THE OFFICE.
THE INITIAL TRAINING WILL BE CARRIED OUT IN THE OFFICE THEREFORE YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO TRAVEL TO KELVEDON FOR THIS. IDEALLY YOU WILL NOT LIVE FURTHER THAN AN HOURS DRIVE FROM KELVEDON
Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm (1 hour lunch)
Salary is £25,000 - £26,000 per annum + an excellent benefits package
This is a new & exciting opportunity that is not to be missed - If you are an experienced Accounts Assistant with a degree in Accounting or at least AAT Level 3 qualified then read on.
Due to the rapid growth of our client, they are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team to ensure an efficient & accurate finance function. You will be an integral part of the company & will be assisting in continuing to drive the business forward.
Accounts Assistant Responsibilities
Entering cost of sales invoices on to the system
Matching invoices against purchase orders
Entering overhead invoices on to Sage against the appropriate nominal code
Processing sales invoices and sending to clients
Processing credit card costs on to Sage
Credit control, chasing debt for a small number of clients & supporting 2 other Credit Controllers
Processing and paying staff expenses daily
Sending payment schedules for approval
Settling suppliers invoices weekly
Assisting with general accounts duties and queries
Maintaining and updating the system and carrying out all accounts administration
Accounts Assistant Requirements
Accounting degree or AAT Level 3 qualified required (or any related accountancy qualification)
Previous accounting experience
Good knowledge of MS Office and ideally Sage
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
