Job description
An Accounts Assistant vacancy is available to join a wholesale company in the Rowley Regis area. An office-based role joining a small finance team your time will be split between credit control and sales ledger duties.
Duties of this Credit Control / Sales Ledger position will include;
- Ensuring all debt is chased effectively and payment made within terms
- Develop and maintain good quality relationships with customers
- Carrying out cash allocation duties
- Handling invoice queries
- Bank reconciliations
- Raising credit notes when required
- General accounts administration including handling incoming queries and holiday cover across the accounts team
Ideally you will have the following;
- Strong Excel experience, including VLookUps
- Prior use of Sage
- Credit control experience
- Confident telephone manner
- Any other experience across accounts departments to assist within the team
Based in the Rowley Regis area, with free parking and easily accessible via public transport, this is a full time role working a 37.5 hour week Monday - Friday. Offering a salary of 23-26k p/a dependent on experience.
