Job description
We are looking for an Accountant to join our team. You will need to be Qualified or part qualified with the following qualification: CIMA, ACCA, ACA. This is a fast-paced role, managing the accounts for a growing group of companies so previous experience working in a similar role is must.
Your Home group works within the U.K property market specialising in investment property portfolios. The ideal candidate will be able to manage several different accounts and bookkeeping roles within the company structure. Most importantly a passion for property and property tax would be beneficial in this role.
Duties
- Preparing monthly journals
- Assisting in annual audit process
- Preparing monthly reporting packs and various balance sheet and expense accounts
- Oversee the preparation of monthly project costing, recharges and comparison to budget with variance analysis
- Preparing weekly cashflows for subsidiaries
- Bookkeeping for several different companies
- Identifying and driving process improvements
- All-round Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing
- Carry out Month End procedures
- Account filing
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
