Job description
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily accounting tasks, including debits and credits, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Respond to guest inquiries, charge inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
- Prepare journal entries.
- Review statements for accuracy.
- Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Assist with financial services such as preparing financial statements and reports.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounting records.
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance.
- Utilize double-entry bookkeeping principles to ensure accurate financial records.
- Utilize 10-key typing skills for data entry and calculations.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to conduct account analysis and identify discrepancies.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
